
Prevail Capital’s team has collectively raised over $1bn from top tier institutional
and corporate investors. We have over 40 years of experience raising capital for the
private equity industry. Through our investor experience, we have developed and actively
maintain an extensive network of thousands of qualified LP relationships.
Prior to co-founding Prevail Capital, Steve was a Managing Director with Advent
International, a global private equity firm with $10bn in committed capital. Steve
joined Advent in 1988 and was the key senior partner responsible for Advent’s
venture fundraising programs and corporate partnerships. He also ran the firm’s
venture capital LP services group and was involved in fundraising for Advent’s late stage
buyout and Latin American private equity products. While at Advent, Steve successfully raised
multiple funds for Advent and hundreds of millions in capital commitments. Prior to Advent,
Steve spent 10 years in senior marketing and finance positions with two high technology
companies involved in the development and manufacturing of CAD/CAM systems. Steve
received a BS in mechanical engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard
Business School.
Prior to co-founding Prevail Capital, Grace held a number of positions with Advent
International. She originally joined Advent in 1997 and was responsible for
Advent’s IT venture fundraising programs and corporate partnerships. Grace was
recently involved with successfully raising $3bn of LP committments for Advent’s
fifth mid-market buyout program. Before Advent, she was a founding member of ArrowPath
Venture Capital. At ArrowPath, Grace completed over a dozen technology investments and
played a key role in successfully raising $320m from corporate and institutional investors.
Previously, she was the Director of Corporate Development at E*TRADE Group. Grace has
also worked as an investment banker with Volpe, Welty & Co. and was a financial analyst with
Jones Lang LaSalle. Grace holds a BSc in economics from the Wharton School of the University
of Pennsylvania.
